Tastings are offered on a case-by-case basis, depending on how busy the wine stewards in the tasting room are. We strive to accommodate every guest to the best of our abilities, and we pride ourselves in conducting informative and thorough tastings, so we do not wish to compromise the quality of service or other guests experiences’ just to “squeeze in” an extra tasting.
If we are unable to conduct a proper tasting, our staff is more than happy to offer a couple, small complimentary samples of wine, so guests may find a wine they enjoy.
Our Winemaker’s Reserve Tasting is an intimate, one-of-a-kind experience, hosted by our resident winemaker & owner, Tyler Barnes. Guests have one-on-one access to our winemaker and are encouraged to ask any wine related questions they like. During the tasting, Tyler delves into all the intricacies of wine and the winemaking process, and provides an educational and truly unique, personal tasting experience.
Winemaker’s Reserve Tastings are $55 per person and space is limited for each time-slot. Please call the tasting room in advance to reserve your spot. We encourage guests to arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your reservation to check in. A ten-minute grace period will be allotted if guests are running late by calling the tasting room prior to your scheduled tasting.
We do accept walk-in tastings on a case-by-case basis for groups of 5 or less depending on the availability of our staff to conduct the tasting, although we strongly encourage guests to call in advance to make a “call ahead” reservation since the tasting room is the busiest during the weekend.
Reservations are required for weekday tastings for groups exceeding 5 people.
Winemaker’s Reserve Tastings are by advanced reservations only and space is limited to 3 time slots: 11:30, 1:30 & 3:30.
Our standard tastings range from $22 for a 4-wine tasting, to $26 for a 5-wine tasting. Additional wines may be added onto any tasting for $4 per wine.
We offer white wine, red wine, and mixed wine tastings.
For large groups (6 or more), tastings may be pre-selected by our knowledgeable wine stewards, based on the overall preference of the group.
Accent Cellars specializes in drier styles of wine, however, we also produce off-dry wines that are moderately sweet and fruit forward. We carry a few select dessert wines courtesy of our friends at Currahee Vineyards, so there is something to please every palate.
