For our next Cellar Studies, take a peek behind the curtain with us and explore one of the fundamentals of the winemaking process. We are going to be doing bench trials! For those not familiar with the term, a bench trial is a small-scale test to determine if additions or stylistic changes should be made to wine in large volumes for the final product. For our bench trial, we will be exploring sugar, acid, and other additions to our Pinot Blanc, 2021 Malbec, and a new vintage of Underdog to see what the perfect balance is. While parents relax and enjoy a glass of wine, Katie will entertain and create with the little ones, guiding them through a fun and engaging art project. It’s the perfect way to unwind and let the kids explore their creativity in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. No reservations needed—just stop by, sip, and let the art-making begin!
